Mission

The mission of our specialized work force service (SSMO-PH) is to help people with physical, sensory or neurological disabilities develop their full potential regarding employment in order for them to improve their integration into the workforce and their job retention. In addition, we work with employers who offer job prospects for people with disabilities.

Services

• Information sessions on our services
• Individual encounters with job seekers throughout the process
• Development of targeted action plans
• Skills assessment and interest testing, if applicable
• Individual or group courses on job search methods
• Access to an extensive employer bank
• Access to the Internet, facsimile services, telephone, printer and various directories during the job search process
• Access to a resource centre
• Accompaniment of participants at job interviews, if necessary
• Collaboration with various specialized partners
• Support to settle all types of job-related difficulties
• Aid in obtaining adapted equipment
• Access to various grant programs
• Services available in French, English, Spanish and LSQ (Quebec Sign Language)
