Do you know about the SDAESH of Université de Montréal?

onroule-universite-montreal-udmUniversité de Montréal’s Services documentaires adaptés aux étudiants en situation de handicap de l’Université de Montréal (SDAESH), an assistive documentation service for disabled persons at UdeM, has as a goal to make documents physically and intellectually accessible as quickly as possible. Specialize assistive technology is made available to both students and staff to facilitate the conversion of documents into formats appropriate to their needs. Training on the equipment is available from qualified personnel who also ensure that students obtain the documents they require within academic deadlines and formatted for their particular disability.

This service is located at the Bibliothèque des lettres et des sciences humaines.

The students registered to classes at the Université de Montréal and admitted by the Bureau des services aux étudiants handicapés have access in priority;

Other students, teachers, graduated and employees from the University de Montréal and students form affiliated schools or from another University in Quebec can also access the services.
