Description<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

We are looking for a project manager to create an awareness-raising campaign geared towards the post-secondary community about the issue of mental health. The goal would be to favour success for students living with a mental illness. This offer is available in the context of the Canada Summer Jobs Program. (See the eligibility criteria below.)<\/p>\n

About the organization<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

The Quebec Association of Post-Secondary Students with Disabilities (AQEIPS) is a non-profit organization that was created in 1991 by and for students with disabilities. Its main mission is to promote equal opportunities in post-secondary education and to strengthen the community in its defence of the right to higher education, social inclusion, active life and citizen participation.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Eligility criteria<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

This job is offered thanks to the Canada Summer Jobs program. Certain selection criteria are required. Here is an exact list. Eligible candidates:<\/p>\n

(a) are between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusively) at the start of employment;
\n(b) were registered as a full-time student in the previous academic year;
\n(c) intend to return to school on a full-time basis in the next academic year;
\n(d) are registered in a secondary, post-secondary, C\u00c9GEP (Quebec only), professional or technical program;
\n(e) are Canadian citizens or permanent residents or have official refugee protection status under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act; and
\n(f) are legally entitled to work in Canada, according to relevant provincial\/territorial legislation and regulations.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Responsabilities<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

Do a review of the resources available as well as the means that have been used to reach post-secondary students dealing with mental illness.<\/p>\n

Elaborate an action plan to reach defined clienteles with the help of organizations from the field.<\/p>\n

Conceive promotional tools such as posters or web content to reach defined clienteles.<\/p>\n

Broadcast the tools created in the context of the project across educational establishments in view of the 2016-2017 back to school season.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Education<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

Have completed or nearly completed a university degree in communications or computer graphics. Knowledge of a closely or remotely related field is also an asset.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Work Experience<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

It is an asset to have worked:
\n\u2022 In a place with a fixed schedule.
\n\u2022 In a field related to research.
\n\u2022 In close cooperation with colleagues.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Requirements<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

\u2022 Excellent oral and written proficiencies in English or in French;
\n\u2022 Abilities in fields related to computer graphics;
\n\u2022 Good knowledge of social media and of broadcasting web content;
\n\u2022 Capacity to adapt to work with colleagues in an open space;
\n\u2022 Meticulous presentation for work with partners;<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Additional experiences\/skills<\/span><\/strong><\/h5>\n

\u2022 Being involved in a community or student association setting (an asset);
\n\u2022 Knowing laws, equal opportunity measures, policies and other issues related to post-secondary education in Quebec (an asset).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Working conditions<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n

\u2022 Full-time position in our Montreal office (office is accessible to persons with reduced mobility);
\n\u2022 Thirty-five hours (35) per week for 6 weeks (possibility of adjusting hours, for example 26 hours per week during 8 weeks);
\n\u2022 Entry into service in May-June 2016;
\n\u2022 Salary: $13 per hour.<\/p>\n
